1. The Bible

The Bible is inspired of God and written by human authors supernaturally under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Since the Bible is was inspired of God and flawless, it is truth and is essential and relevant in our daily lives.  It is God’s Word to everyone.

2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21

2. The Father

The one true God has revealed himself as “OUR FATHER”, the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.  He is all powerful, all knowing, and ever present, unchanging, loving, faithful to His people and His promises, and Holy. It is in Him that we live, move, and exist.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22

3. Jesus

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and equal of the Father, existing from the beginning of time.  He was born of a virgin, therefore is completely human, but at the same time, completely God. He lived a sinless life so that He could be the substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands.  He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have new life and now sits at the right hand of God.

Matthew 1:22-23; Luke 1:31,35; Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Acts 2:22; 10:38; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Acts 1:9,11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3

4. Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a full and equal part of the Trinity.  He works in the world to show all people their need for Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit lives inside every follower of Jesus from the moment they decide to follow Jesus.  The Holy Spirit presence guides believers into all truth, assures us of our relationship with Christ, and always exalts Christ.  He convicts people of their sin, comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts and makes us more like Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16: 7-13; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 1:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13: 5:1; Galatians 5:25

5. Man

Man was created good and upright and in the image of God and was the centerpiece of God’s creation.  Man was created to have fellowship with God, but because of sinful disobedience their fellowship became separated from God.  Because of this, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through their own effort. Every human is uniquely created by God and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Genesis 1:26,27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1-2

6. Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God.  Man's only hope of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God for the forgiveness of sin.  Salvation is received when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for their sin and repents of their sins.  Whenever you make that decision, you step into the eternal and abundant life Jesus promises for all believers

Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Romans 8:16; Ephesians 4:24; Titus 2:12

7. Eternity

Your decision about Jesus Christ in this life will determine where you will spend eternity.  God made you to exist forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation.  Heaven is a perfect place, and since none of us is perfect we were all headed for an eternity of separation from God which is hell. That’s why God sent Jesus:  to pay the price for our sins so that we can spend eternity with Him. If you accept Him, you will spend it eternally connected with Him in Heaven.
